Full Description
This isnβt just another cutting board. Itβs a slab of New Hampshire craftsmanship β built from cherry, ambrosia maple, and purpleheart, and finished by hand in the Wilbur Woodworking shop. At 16.5β³ Γ 10β³ Γ 1.25β³, itβs tough enough for everyday chopping, yet too good-looking not to show off as a charcuterie board when friends come over.
The Woods That Built It
-
Cherry β Classic, warm, and deepens in color as it ages (kind of like a fine whiskey).
-
Ambrosia Maple β Streaked with wild, one-of-a-kind character. No two boards will ever look the same.
-
Purpleheart β Bold, vibrant, and impossible to ignore. This exotic wood turns your cutting board into a showpiece.
Together, they create a cutting board thatβs more than just a tool β itβs a conversation starter.
Built Like a Woodworker Would Want
Every board is handmade in New Hampshire by Wilbur Woodworking, where sawdust, hand tools, and a good eye for grain all come together. We donβt rush it, and we donβt mass-produce it. Each board is sanded smooth, finished with a blend of natural mineral oil and beeswax, and made to last for years of service.
Why It Belongs in Your Kitchen

-
Re-oil with mineral oil or board butter when it looks thirsty.
-

More Than a Cutting Board
This piece does double duty: workhorse in the kitchen, centerpiece on the table. Slice, chop, serve, or just admire the grain β itβs up to you. And when you hand it down someday, itβll carry the same story it started with: built by hand, built to last, built to be used.
